NDAUK this year has put great pressure on the current UK Government too via petitions, letters to PM etc. The UK government have been very forthcoming and we have been delighted with the support they have provided as summarised by Dominic Raab ’ s tweet and a direct response to my letter to PM detailing the support : GENERALSECRETARY ’ SREPORT 2020-2021 Likewise, BAPIO has also helped the cause . BAPIO has donated 10(10 L) and Rama and friends have donated 30 (5L) oxygen concentrators to Lumbini Provincial Hospital for COVID relief in Nepal. They were happy to facilitate this with Nepalese Doctors' Association UK & Diabetes Nepal.A huge thanks to Dr. Mohan Thapa & colleagues for getting oxygen concentrators. NDA UK JOURNAL, JULY 2021 We are continuing to pressure the government for speedy supply of vaccines to Nepal. Membership News & Activities Our membership has been growing slowly & steadily over the year. With the on going Covid-19 pandemic, social events have largely been curtailed, and most if not all our activities have been online as webinars.
